“This MoU strengthens and proves that KJL is serious about working on the market and handling of goods at Patimban Port and Kariangau Interport with IMN,” said KJL Senior Vice President Commercial & Business Development Guntur Arief Budiyanto, in a statement today, (Tuesday, May 16, 2023).

KJL had earlier used Patimban International Port for shipping the Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) Cargo Project owned by PT Plumpang Raya Anugerah which was sent to PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy from Cilamaya to Lahendong in Tomohon, North Sulawesi and made KJL the first logistics company using the Patimban International Port Multipurpose Terminal (PPI) for General Cargo shipments.

With the signing of this MoU, KJL has increasingly strengthened its position as a logistics service provider at Patimban International Port and Kariangau Interport Terminal to work on the logistics business with industrial market potential in the Subang, Purwakarta, Bandung, Balikpapan and surrounding areas.

The shareholders of the PPI consortium are PT CTCorp Infrastructure Indonesia – PT Indika Logistics & Support Services – PT U Connectivity Service – PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya, while PT Indika Multi Niaga is part of Interport, one of PPI’s shareholders.
