The Indonesian Container Depot Association (ASDEKI) Jakarta Province will hold its 4th Regional Conference (Muswil) at the SANTIKA Hotel, Kota Harapan Indah, on December 19, 2024.
Abdul Yacub, Acting Regional Chairperson of ASDEKI Jakarta DPW, explained that Muswil serves as the highest deliberative forum of the association, held every five years. Its authority includes electing or appointing the Regional Chairperson, as well as accepting, approving, or rejecting the Accountability Report for the association’s activities and finances during the current term. The forum will also discuss the work program for the next five-year period and elect the ASDEKI Jakarta DPW Chairperson for the 2024-2029 term.
Jagoar Pasaribu, Head of the Steering Committee for the 4th ASDEKI Jakarta DPW Muswil, emphasized that to ensure the success of the event, a set of requirements in accordance with ASDEKI’s Articles of Association and Bylaws has been established for the selection of candidates for the 2024-2029 term.
To be eligible to run for Regional Chairperson of ASDEKI Jakarta DPW, candidates must have an active container depot business in Jakarta. Only ASDEKI Jakarta members with an active depot can participate in the Muswil. The registration for prospective candidates officially opened on December 11, 2024, and will close on December 17, 2024, with a verification process before candidates are finalized.
The registration for Muswil participants is also open until December 17, 2024. It is expected that company leaders will attend, but if they are unable to, they may be represented by a company delegate with a Mandate Letter. Observers are also welcome to attend by presenting a company mandate letter (one per company). Mustofa Kamal Hamka, General Chairperson of DPP ASDEKI, emphasized that the 4th Muswil DPW ASDEKI Jakarta is an essential forum for member consolidation. It aims to strengthen association solidarity, promote the growth of ASDEKI, and support the success of its members’ businesses.
