JPPI Surpasses 2024 Revenue Target, Eyes Business Diversification to Dredging

Port equipment provider PT Jasa Peralatan Pelabuhan Indonesia (JPPI), a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim, posted a strong financial performance in 2024, reporting revenues of IDR319.78 billion, exceeding its annual target by nearly 30% and marking a 41% increase from the previous year.

The figures were disclosed during the company’s General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) held at the Pelindo Place Building in Surabaya, where stakeholders gathered to review JPPI’s 2024 Annual Report and approve key strategic decisions.

JPPI’s President Director, Budi Pratomo, attributed the robust performance to stakeholder trust and operational efficiency, particularly in docking services.

The company successfully completed 49 ship dockings over the year, outperforming its annual target by 181% and registering a 213% increase compared to 2023.

“We are grateful to all stakeholders for their continued confidence in JPPI,” said Pratomo.

“This performance not only meets but exceeds our goals, and we’re committed to leveraging this momentum into 2025 by expanding our service portfolio, improving human capital, and strengthening collaboration across the Pelindo Group.”

The GMS, chaired by JPPI’s President Commissioner Basuki Soleh, approved four key resolutions: the ratification of the 2024 financial statements, the allocation of net profit, the distribution of performance bonuses (tantiem), and the appointment of an external auditor for the next fiscal year.

Eyeing Diversification to Dredging Business

Looking ahead, JPPI plans to diversify its services to include dredging and channel maintenance, with an eye toward capturing greater market share in the maritime sector.

Shareholders also issued several directives aimed at sustaining operational performance, including completing tugboat and pilot boat repairs, initiating a corporate name change to reflect JPPI’s evolving business activities, and closely managing cost increases across operations.
