PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL), a subsidiary of the BUMN Port Pelindo, is offering a 46% discount on the Cibitung – Cilincing Toll Road (JTCC) section during the Ramadan period and the 2025 Eid homecoming flow.
This discount is being provided through PT Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways (PT CTP), the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) responsible for the Cibitung – Cilincing section.
The discount will be available from March 1 to April 30, 2025, covering the Ramadan period as well as the peak of the Eid homecoming and return flows. This initiative is in line with the government’s directive to provide stimulus and support smooth mobility for both the public and logistics sectors during the Eid travel rush.
Kiki M. Hikmat, Senior Vice President of the Corporate Secretariat at PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik, explained that this initiative is part of the company’s commitment to supporting the efficiency and competitiveness of the national logistics sector.
“We recognize that Ramadan and Eid are peak periods for logistics and public travel. Through this JTCC toll rate discount, we aim to reduce transportation costs and help ensure the smooth flow of goods and passengers during this busy time,” said Kiki.
Yaya Ruhiya, President Director of PT CTP Tollways, emphasized that the discount policy aligns with government efforts to optimize traffic flow.
“This toll rate reduction is in accordance with the government’s recommendations to ensure the smooth flow of homecoming and return trips. Additionally, this policy aims to help both the community and logistics stakeholders fully benefit from the JTCC route,” said Yaya.
Ensuring Smooth Traffic Flow and Services
In addition to the toll rate discount, PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik has taken proactive steps to manage the surge in activity during the homecoming period. These steps include road condition checks, ensuring operational readiness in the traffic sector, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to maintain smooth operations in the hinterland and port areas.
“We are strengthening our preparations to ensure that every aspect of travel during the 2025 Eid homecoming is safe, smooth, and comfortable for everyone. Our commitment is to provide the best service so that this year’s homecoming experience is seamless and without obstacles,” said Kiki.
JTCC has implemented several measures to support smooth traffic flow, including the provision of three towing vehicles, three mobile customer service units, one Satgas Kamtib vehicle, two ambulances, one rescue vehicle, and two Highway Patrol vehicles.
To optimize transaction services, JTCC has enhanced the operation of toll booths, equipped mobile readers and EDC machines, and ensured the readiness of toll collectors and technicians to maintain a smooth vehicle flow.
“During the Ramadan and Eid period in 2025, there will be no restrictions on large vehicles using the JTCC. Extending this toll rate discount is part of our commitment to providing excellent service and showing appreciation to road users,” Kiki added.
“We also remind drivers to prioritize safety by planning their trips carefully, checking that their vehicles are in good condition, ensuring their electronic money balance is sufficient, filling up their fuel tank, and maintaining optimal physical condition while driving.”
