PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL), a subsidiary of state-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo), has reinforced its commitment to good corporate governance by rolling out the “Pelindo Bersih” (Clean Pelindo) program, an internal whistleblowing initiative aimed at stamping out misconduct across its operations.
The initiative is part of Pelindo’s broader push to instill a culture of integrity throughout its subsidiaries. By providing a secure platform for employees and stakeholders to report unethical practices, TTL hopes to build a workplace environment free from fraud, bribery, corruption, extortion, and other breaches of corporate ethics.
“The program is designed to raise awareness across the Pelindo Group about potential violations and serves as an integral part of our internal controls and early warning system,” said Syaiful Anam, Corporate Secretary of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, in a written statement released Monday (Aug. 26).
The whistleblowing system allows individuals to report a wide range of infractions, including fraud, corruption, gratuities, theft, embezzlement, extortion, violations of company policy, and conflicts of interest.
To support the initiative, TTL has launched a series of internal campaigns, including the dissemination of educational content, installation of awareness posters, and outreach via social media platforms. These efforts aim to boost employee engagement and ensure a company-wide understanding of compliance standards.
In a parallel effort to bolster legal literacy among staff, TTL recently hosted a legal education session in cooperation with the Tanjung Perak District Attorney’s Office. The session focused on Indonesia’s newly passed Criminal Code (Law No. 1/2023), which is set to take effect on Jan. 2, 2026.
TTL’s latest governance efforts signal its continued dedication to upholding professionalism, transparency, and accountability as core business values.
