In the spirit of charity and community support ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, KSO TPK Koja, in collaboration with the Red Cross PMI Jakarta, organized its first blood donation drive of 2025.
The event, held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, aimed to contribute to the ongoing efforts to support the blood bank in Jakarta and help those in urgent need of blood supplies.
The donation drive took place in the multipurpose room on the 5th floor of the KSO TPK Koja Building, situated at Jl. Digul No.1, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. The initiative was exclusively open to employees within the KSO TPK Koja community, offering a valuable opportunity for those to make a difference through this lifesaving act.
“This blood donation activity marks the first of its kind in 2025, running from 09:00 to 12:00. We’re targeting 100 donors, although the final number will depend on the screening results to determine eligibility,” said Harley, a representative from the KSO TPK Koja public relations team.
He continued, “We hope that this blood donation will support PMI DKI Jakarta’s Blood Bank, enabling them to help those in need.” The donation drive provided employees with a chance to give back to their community, reinforcing the importance of solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.
The blood donation drive served as a reminder of how collective efforts can help ensure that medical services have the necessary resources to save lives, particularly during critical times.
