IPC TPK Hosts US, Estonia Delegations to Explore Port Cooperation

PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a subsidiary of state-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), hosted delegations from the United States and Estonia at Tanjung Priok Port this week to explore cooperation in maritime services, logistics and technology.

The U.S. Maritime and Tech Security Trade Mission visited the container terminal on Monday morning, reviewing operations and holding discussions on maritime security, port technology and logistics systems, the company said in a statement.

An Estonian delegation, visiting Indonesia alongside the country’s minister of infrastructure, toured the facility later in the day and discussed potential collaboration in port operations, maritime infrastructure and integrated logistics development.

Both visits took place at IPC TPK’s Planning and Control Center in Tanjung Priok, Indonesia’s busiest port, and were aimed at supporting Pelindo’s efforts to expand international partnerships and strengthen its role in global supply chains.

Corporate Secretary Daniel Setiawan said the visits provided an opportunity to showcase Indonesia’s container terminal capabilities and ongoing operational improvements.

“IPC TPK supports Pelindo’s efforts to expand international collaboration in the maritime and logistics sectors,” Setiawan said. “The visits also highlighted our operational readiness and ongoing service transformation.”

IPC TPK has been focusing on digitalisation, improving loading and unloading efficiency and strengthening technology-based operations to boost terminal productivity and streamline cargo flows, the company said.
