The management of PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI) and the MTI Workers’ Union (SPMTI) have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening industrial relations and boosting productivity amid the ongoing integration of Indonesia’s state-owned logistics enterprises.
The commitment was formalized during bipartite negotiations held on Monday, May 18, reflecting a shared resolve between management and workers to support the company’s strategic agenda, including the merger of state-owned logistics entities.
MTI management expressed appreciation for the professional and constructive relationship maintained by the union and its members throughout the company’s business transformation process. The company said strong collaboration between management and workers has been instrumental in ensuring smooth terminal operations and maintaining service quality for customers.
MTI Corporate Secretary Sucahyo said the communication established between management and employees demonstrates a mature and constructive industrial relationship.
“This agreement provides an important foundation for us to move forward together in improving company productivity and supporting the major agenda of integrating state-owned logistics entities. Both parties have also agreed to uphold the principles of accountability and good corporate governance throughout the process,” Sucahyo said.
SPMTI Chairman Nurtakim welcomed the management’s openness in maintaining intensive dialogue with employees, emphasizing that collaboration would be essential as the company navigates its next phase of transformation.

All MTI employees are ready to work hand in hand with management to improve discipline and productivity in support of the merger agenda for state-owned logistics entities,” Nurtakim said.
Going forward, both management and the workers’ union pledged to maintain a shared vision in supporting the transformation of Indonesia’s national logistics industry.
