PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) Banten Branch is preparing Ciwandan Port to support the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming traffic, offering facilities and operational services for motorcycles and trucks transporting staple goods to Sumatra.
Ciwandan Port will serve as a departure point for motorcycle travelers and a logistics hub for food supplies to ensure smooth distribution during the holiday period. Trucking services for staple foods have been operating since March 11, while motorcycle services are scheduled from March 13 to 20. The port’s operations are managed across four piers: 05A, 07, 03, and 02.

Andi Purwantoro, Branch Manager of PTP Nonpetikemas Banten, said the company fully supports government policy in using Ciwandan Port as a crossing point for motorcycles, while ensuring facilities and operations are ready for a safe and orderly homecoming flow.
On Saturday, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi and officials from the Banten Class II Land Transportation Management Agency (BPTD) inspected the motorcycle homecoming operations. The government stressed the importance of safe, comfortable, and secure transport services to support the holiday traffic flow.
PTP Nonpetikemas operates non-container terminals across 11 port areas in Indonesia. The Banten branch manages a 1,002.51-meter pier, a 1,460-square-meter transit warehouse, and a 32,259-square-meter stacking yard. The terminal handles dry bulk and liquid bulk cargo, supported by cranes, excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts, and weighbridges.
With these facilities, PTP Nonpetikemas Banten aims to provide optimal port services during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr season.
