JPPI Booked 108% Net Profit Increase in 2023

Jasa Peralatan Pelabuhan Indonesia (JPPI), a subsidiary of Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM that does business in port equipment repair and procurement, booked significant net profit growth last year (2023). The company reported that its net profit reached Rp 3 billion in 2023, a 108% increase year-on-year, compared to 2022.

It also enjoys a significant increase in equity, to 40.71 billion, a 51.3% increase YoY, thanks to an improvement in works of predictive maintenance. Say its MTTR (the mean time to recovery or mean time to restore) that has increased significantly to only 0.61 hour in 2023, from 0.96 hour in 2022.

JPPI Acting President Director Paul July Supatrio – who is also as Engineering and Operation Director – appreciates such achievement and expects it as a motivation for a better performance in 2024.

“We appreciate all parties for such achievement and hopefully, this will become a motivation for a better achievement this year,” said Paul.

This year (2024), JPPI will intensify its innovation programs and market expansion, thus reaching the target set up by its parent company (SPJM).

Echoing this, JPPI Finance and HRD Director Roy F.H. Simanjuntak added that the company had improved human resources, both in quantity and quality. He said, number of certificated personals have increase from 40 in 2022 to 47 in 2023.
