SPJM Reports Strong Q1 2025 Performance with 19.77% Revenue and 29.95% Profit Growth

PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM), a subholding of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), posted a robust performance in the first quarter of 2025, underscoring the success of its ongoing transformation strategy and commitment to service excellence.

As of March 2025, SPJM recorded a 19.77% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue, accompanied by a 29.95% rise in net profit, reaching IDR 125.15 billion—or 144.75% of the company’s Q1 target under the Work Plan and Budget (RKAP). The company also saw asset growth of 14.97% YoY.

This performance reflects SPJM’s continuous efforts in digitalization, service optimization, the standardization of port operations, and the strengthening of the company’s Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (K3L) culture.

All major service segments within the SPJM Group reported growth. Marine services enjoyed a an increase, both in pilotage and towage. Pilotage recorded 160,751 ship movements, a 7.90% YoY increase. Towage service reached 1.39 billion Gross Tonnage (GT) hours, up 6.96% YoY.

SPJM also recorded positive performance in equipment services. Ship docking services were performed on 9 vessels during the quarter.

SPJM also showed good performance in port services. Channel management services increased by 4.79% YoY, handling 7.12 million tons. Energy Services also expanded significantly; Fuel distribution grew by 23.51%, reaching 18,162 kiloliters (KL); Gas distribution surged 50.01%, totaling 3.79 million MMBTU, Clean water supply rose 26.22%, reaching 672,292 tons; and Electricity distribution saw a modest growth of 1.43%, totaling 50.2 million KWh. Dredging services increased 59.32% YoY, with 499,116 cubic meters dredged.
