PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL) has reported marked improvements in health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE/K3L) performance across its terminals, underscoring the port operator’s continued push to strengthen its safety culture.
The gains were highlighted during TTL’s periodic K3L evaluation, a strategic review that measures the company’s adherence to safety standards and risk indicators. The assessment covered TTL’s main facilities – TPK Nilam, TPK Berlian and TPK Lamong – which all showed double-digit growth in performance metrics.
“The evaluation focuses on K3L issues faced by each terminal, the fulfillment of key risk indicators and the implementation of our safety transformation,” said Muhammad Syukur, Director of Operations at TTL. “We are committed to maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards across all operations.”
TTL’s safety transformation program centers on three pillars: Terminal Sterilization, to prevent unauthorized access to high-risk zones; Safety Induction, mandatory for anyone working on site; and Minimum Safety Requirements, ensuring uniform standards for facilities, equipment and worker competency.
Results from the latest evaluation showed significant progress. TPK Nilam recorded a 33% improvement in K3L performance, TPK Berlian 50%, and TPK Lamong 64%, reflecting the impact of TTL’s ongoing cultural transformation toward a stronger health and safety mindset.
“This evaluation is a vital opportunity to reinforce safety awareness at every level of the organization,” said Anang Januriandoko, TTL’s Senior Manager of QHSSE. “We aim to ensure that every individual understands and takes responsibility for maintaining HSE excellence.”
TTL said it remains committed to embedding safety as a core part of its operational culture, striving not only to comply with regulatory standards but to set an industry benchmark for safe, productive and sustainable port operations.
