Pelindo Solusi Maritim Maintains Operations Through End-2025

PT Pelindo Solusi Maritim (PSM) said its shipyard operations across Indonesia will continue through the end of 2025, as the company works to complete dozens of vessel construction projects while maintaining safety and operational performance.

PSM’s shipyards in Jakarta, along with partner facilities in Surabaya, Bengkulu, Tanjung Balai Karimun, Palembang, Belawan, Balikpapan and Samarinda, will remain operational until New Year’s Eve, the company said.

Four vessels are currently under construction at PSM’s own shipyards, while nine others are being built at partner shipyards.

“As of November 2025, a total of 50 vessels have been completed at all PSM shipyards, both owned and partnered,” Nurhadi, Director of Operations and Commercial at PSM, said in a statement.

He said the completed vessels include 27 ships with a total capacity of 32,134 gross tons built at PSM-owned shipyards and 23 ships totaling 5,497 gross tons constructed at partner facilities. The company is targeting the completion of 53 vessels by the end of 2025.

“We hope that all construction work at both our own and partner shipyards can be completed on schedule, while continuing to prioritize occupational health and safety,” Nurhadi said.

A Series of CSR Programs

In addition to its operational activities, PSM also carried out a series of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs toward the end of the year, coinciding with Mother’s Day and Christmas celebrations.

Working with the Papanggo Community Health Center (Puskesmas) and the Papanggo village administration, the company provided health counseling to 30 pregnant women in the area. PSM also distributed nutritional supplements, milk and baby care packages to expectant mothers.

As part of its Christmas outreach, PSM also provided TJSL assistance to local communities celebrating the holiday, the company said.

“Pregnancy is the starting point for building a healthy future generation,” Roy F.H. Simanjuntak, Director of Finance, Human Resources and Risk Management at PSM, said.

“By ensuring proper nutrition from the earliest stages, we aim to support the growth of healthy mothers and children as part of our contribution toward Indonesia’s future.”

Simanjuntak added that the company’s year-end assistance was intended to help foster a sense of peace and togetherness within the community during the Christmas season.
