PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas), one of Indonesia’s leading non-container terminal operators, is strengthening internal communication governance as it seeks to safeguard its reputation in an increasingly competitive and digitally connected port industry.
Through an initiative titled “One Voice, One PTP,” the company is urging employees across its nationwide operations to align their messaging and conduct, both offline and online, amid the growing influence of social media and real-time information flows.
President Director Indra Hidayat Sani said corporate reputation is shaped not only by operational performance and business achievements, but also by the daily attitudes, behavior and communication of employees.

Indra Hidayat Sani: “One Voice, One PTP does not mean uniformity of opinion.”
“One Voice, One PTP does not mean uniformity of opinion,” Indra said. “It means alignment in values and professionalism. Every statement and every action by our people contributes directly to the company’s image.”
As digital platforms blur the boundaries between personal expression and institutional representation, PTP Nonpetikemas is placing particular emphasis on social media ethics. The company views digital channels as both a strategic communications tool and a potential source of reputational risk.
“In today’s environment, each of us is the face of the company,” Indra said. “We must be wise in how we use social media.”
Under the initiative, employees are encouraged to consider the impact of posts, comments and online responses on public perception, and to ensure that shared information is accurate, verified and professional.

To support the effort, PTP Nonpetikemas has reinforced the role of its Corporate Communications team and established a network of Digital Communication Ambassadors, known internally as “DigiWarriors.”
The group is tasked with producing content, managing emerging issues and strengthening positive corporate narratives across digital platforms.
The DigiWarriors also contribute to broader Pelindo Group communication efforts, including amplifying strategic information and supporting cross-entity campaigns such as the Pelindo Squadron.
The communications drive was formally launched through an internal webinar attended by employees across all branches, followed by a three-day Communications and DigiWarrior Training program held in Jakarta from Feb. 9 to 11, 2026. The training aimed to standardize messaging and enhance communication capacity from headquarters to regional branches.
PTP Nonpetikemas operates non-container terminals handling liquid bulk, dry bulk, general cargo and other non-containerized shipments. The company manages 11 port branches across Indonesia, including Tanjung Priok and Banten in western Java, Cirebon and Lampung, as well as branches in Bengkulu, Palembang, Jambi, Teluk Bayur, Bangka Belitung, and Pontianak.
As competition intensifies in Indonesia’s port sector and public scrutiny rises in the digital age, PTP Nonpetikemas is betting that disciplined, unified communication will be as critical as operational performance in sustaining long-term growth.
