IPC car terminal PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IPCC) planned to pour as much as Rp250 billion this year. This capital expenditure (capex) would be allocated to finance its yard expansion and new parking building.
IPCC Investor Relations Reza Priyambada said as quoted by Kontan that this capex would be allocated for some expansion programs of area expansion, land acquisition, infrastructure improvement, and development of new facilities like new parking building.
The funding sources would be allocated from internal cash. “We have outstanding cash of more than Rp 400 billion. Our internal cash is enough to finance those programs,” Reza said.
IPCC was planning to build a four-floors parking building in which each floor would contribute one hectare. The building would be built on the existing parking area, but there would be three hectares of additional parking.
“The first floor is of existing parking area. We will have 3 hectares of additional parking area totalling of floor two, three, and four. This new parking building will add our capacity by 144,000 units of CBU,” said Reza.
Reza further explained the progress of this plan, saying the corporate was still completing the administrative preparation.
“But, surely, we will soon realize the program to add capacity,” he said, adding: “May be not this year. May be next year. But, certainly, we will add capacity.”
