Container terminal operator IPC TPK, a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Sub-holding, is starting to apply TOS (terminal operating system) Nusantara and Single Billing over some of its terminals, the ones in Tanjung Priok in particular. This is in responding the technology application trend over the port operation.
“IPC TPK is very responsive to the digital transformation in industry sector, especially in port services,” IPC TPK President Director Wahyu Hardiyanto said in his remark speech for the launching (Go-Live) TOS Nusantara & Single Billing located at the Area Tanjung Priok 1, Zone 1, Terminal 009.
The TOS Nusantara and Single Billing, Wahyu explained, would help all operational services be recorded and monitored through a mutually integrated system with low implementation costs.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has driven the acceleration of transformation towards digital technology. Restriction to physical interactions amid the pandemic has driven the massive use of digital technology at any economic transaction, including at the port services. TOS Nusantara and Single Billing services are solutions to create an integrated terminal with a Planning and Control-based operating system.”
This system will be the forerunner of the Terminal Operating and Single Billing System that will be adopted at all container terminals in Indonesia,” Wahyu said further.
TOS Nusantara is a system based on the latest technology that supports end-to-end services at container terminals with a planning and control-based operating pattern, starting from Vessel Planning, Berth Planning, Yard Planning, until Control Tower.

President Director of IPC TPK Wahyu Hardiyanto, Director of Finance & HR Irwan Favoriet, General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Silo Santoso, Representative of Subholding Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Syaiful Amin, and some other representatives witnessed the ‘Go-Live TOS Nusantara & Single Billing’
TOS Nusantara comes with several advantages such as the implementation of solutions on several sites in one system (multi-tenant); ease of tracing and tracking cargo in the terminal (cargo-visibility); optimizing business operations of the terminal process in providing cargo/container services (Terminal Optimizer); low investment costs with volume-based pricing and cloud-based infrastructure (Low Investment); and easy integration of data and surrounding systems (Open for Integration) as well.
Expected Benefits
Wahyu explained that the implementation of TOS Nusantara will provide a lot of benefits, both to terminal itself and the customers.
The terminals, he said, will be benefited as the TOS will make the operational planning preparation time more optimal with advanced ship planning and core functionality that supports port operational services. On the other hand, the customers will be benefited as all customers’ data and profiles are managed systematically and the TOS system is ready to be integrated with customer systems.

Tanjung Priok’s terminals the first adopting the TOS Nusantara
The implementation of TOS Nusantara is one part of the digital transformation agenda that is being intensified by IPC TPK. As one of the largest container terminal operators in Indonesia, IPC TPK is currently entering the integrated systemization stage (Integration).
IPC TPK is now operating some container terminals in Tanjung Priok and in some other ports of Panjang (Lampung), Palembang, Teluk Bayur, Jambi, and Pontianak.
