The relocation took place on June 6 from 7:03 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA). The operation was led by pilot Abdul Rahmat, who oversaw the maneuver in accordance with maritime safety procedures and shipping regulations.

Three tugboats participated in the operation: TB Azzura Harbour, powered by a 4,000-horsepower engine; KT Venus Harbour, equipped with a 2,000-horsepower engine; and TB HTS 18, with a 4,070-horsepower engine. PJM said the combined capabilities of the vessels enabled the rig to be relocated safely and efficiently.

“The operation reflects PJM’s commitment to delivering reliable services while maintaining the highest safety standards,” Tubagus Patrick, Senior Vice President of Corporate Secretary at PJM, said in a statement.

The rig relocation marked the final stage of its operations in Indonesian waters before being returned to its owner’s home country. PJM said the operation demonstrated the capability of its pilotage and towing services to support offshore oil and gas activities while maintaining safe navigation in port waters.

Captain Gilbert of China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL), the rig operator, praised the performance of PJM’s marine services.

“The pilot is one of the best in Indonesia, and the tugboats are also highly capable,” he said.

PJM said the successful completion of the operation is expected to strengthen customer confidence in its integrated maritime services, particularly for offshore energy projects requiring specialized pilotage and towing support.
