The terminal operational improvement has supported a faster loading/unloading process and shortened port stay, thus making a more efficient service.

Such efficient service has encouraged shipping lines to open new serviced or add existing services and attracted more ship calls to come.

In January-August 2024, TTL had some new services, including PT Meratus Line service of Surabaya – Tangkiang – Kendari, PT SPIL’s Balikpapan – Palu Service, and Tanto’s Makassar-Kendari Service.

Not only domestic, TTL also had some international new service during the period, including International CIX Service (Intra Asia), Wanhai Line – InterAsia Line, and KMTC’s Service to Middle East and India Sub Continent.

Those new services, in addition to bringing benefits in higher ship calls, would expand TTL logistics network and add options in distribution points for customers.
